As a Finance Manager, you will serve as a key business partner to operations and segment leadership, helping drive financial performance, enhance profitability, and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

What you'll be doing:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the Dining & Events segment.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide variance analysis and clear, actionable insights to support business decisions.

Business Partnership & Operations Support

  • Partner closely with operations leaders to support day-to-day decision-making, pricing strategies, and cost management.
  • Translate financial data into insights that improve operational efficiency, event profitability, and client outcomes.
  • Support site-level and regional teams with financial guidance, reporting, and performance tracking.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to track key performance indicators such as revenue, labor, food cost, and event margins.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify performance drivers and recommend improvements.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting needs with speed and accuracy to support leadership priorities.

Month-End Close & Financial Integrity

  • Partner with accounting and shared services teams to ensure accurate and timely month-end close.
  • Review financial results, validate data integrity, and ensure alignment between operational and financial reporting.

Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvement

  • Support strategic initiatives including system enhancements, process improvements, and automation efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Contribute to the achievement of segment financial goals through proactive planning and execution.

What we're looking for:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or operational finance roles
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Proven ability to partner with operations and non-financial stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in hospitality, food service, events, or multi-site operations
  • Background in pricing, margin analysis, or cost optimization
  • Experience working in a shared services or centralized finance model
  • Exposure to ERP systems and financial system transformations

Where you'll be working:

This position is based in Houston, TX (Corporate Headquarters) or Regional Hubs – Minneapolis, MN or Pittsburgh, PA , four days a week, with the option to work remotely one day per week. The office address is 4920 Westway Park Blvd, Houston, TX 77041. Regional Hub offices to open later in 2026. 

 

Compensation Range

 $115,000.00 to $135,000.00, based on experience
