The Role at a glance:
We are seeking a Catering Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring seamless planning, coordination, and execution of catering events. You’ll work closely with clients, culinary teams, and vendors to provide outstanding service. This position calls for excellent organizational skills, a customer-oriented approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Compensation:
$20 an hour.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide administrative support to the catering and sales team in a high-volume event environment
- Prepare and update event documentation, including proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Accurately enter and maintain client and event data in catering management systems
- Track event timelines, deposits, and payments; assist with billing and follow-up as needed
- Communicate event updates, guest counts, and special requests
- Maintain organized client files, records, and correspondence
- Assist sales team with catering requests, ensuring alignment with company standards and priorities
- Uphold company service standards with strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy

What we're looking for:
Must-Haves:
- 1-2 years of experience in catering, food and beverage, events or related field.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Safe Food Handler’s Certification
