The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced and motivated event captain to join our Elior Collegiate Dining team. As an event captain, you will have the opportunity to ensure smooth food service for a variety of events and supervise front and back of house activity.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading a team of event staff and kitchen staff to direct a successful service.
- Facilitating transportation of equipment and service, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of catering equipment and storage areas, and room decoration.
- Handling customer service needs.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and service knowledge.
- At least two years of experience as a service lead or supervisor in a hotel or catering environment.
Nice-to-haves:
- Food Handler’s certification
