The Role at a glance:

As the Payroll Timekeeping Analyst, you will have a proven track record of working with and configuring timekeeping processes and in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis, configuring enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system functionality. You will report to the Sr. Director, Payroll and as a member of the HR team, you will partner in developing and maintaining our payroll and absence management business processes with the timekeeping platform.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage Tickets:  Manage timekeeping tickets through the Zen Desk and identify trends and areas for improvement. 
  • System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain timekeeping payroll system and absence management settings to align with Company policies and compliance requirements. Implement and manage payroll and absence related updates, patches, and enhancements to align with industry trends and best practices.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay abreast of regional and federal payroll regulations, providing guidance on compliance matters. Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy. Maintain and audit tax configuration for multiple companies and diverse employee populations across the United States.
  • Data Analysis and Troubleshooting: Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement. Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc payroll-related reports for internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Support and Documentation: Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance to HR and Finance teams on payroll-related inquiries. Provide training to end-users on Kronos system functionality. Create and maintain documentation for payroll-related processes and procedures.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field, Human Resources or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience  
  • SAP Payroll
  • In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills

 

Nice-to-haves:

  • Success Factors, Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience strongly preferred
  • Kronos and/or Ceridian experience strongly preferred
