Job Overview: The Client Account Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with Tradition's clients, ensuring their needs are understood and consistently met. Serving as a key liaison between Tradition and its clients, this role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional service and fostering client satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Resolve Client Issues: Address and resolve daily client concerns, including shipment shortages and freight-related matters, to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Review and evaluate weekly inventory to maintain accurate stock levels and support seamless operations.
  • Pricing Responsibilities: Develop and manage pricing for Business Development Directors (BDDs), new customers, and new products, including biannual pricing updates in June and December.
  • Order Management: Enter and review all orders for accuracy and ensure error-free processing.
  • Production Planning: Assess demand to align with production schedules and address shortages effectively.
  • Bid and Proposal Management: Prepare and manage bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to secure new business opportunities.
  • Report Analysis: Analyze revenue and quarterly reports to identify trends, optimize strategies, and support decision-making.
  • Client Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact between TRIO and Tradition, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
  • Client and Recipient Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails from clients and meal recipients, Communicate delivery updates, changes, or concerns with clients, Coordinate and communicate client concerns with drivers in real-time, and investigate and relay estimated time of arrival (ETA) updates to clients during delays or issues.
  • New Client Integration: Partner with Tradition to understand and address the needs of new customers, ensuring smooth onboarding and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Education and Experience: associates degree in marketing or business-related field or a minimum of four years of related experience in customer support or client account management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), internet navigation, and email communication.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively address client needs.
  • Microsoft Excel Expertise: Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, including data entry, analysis, and reporting capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field.
  • Software Expertise: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization tools.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners. Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
