The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and flexible Full-Time Food Service Worker to join our Elior School Dining team at Norris Center.

In this role, you will assist with preparing, serving, and distributing meals and snacks while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. We are seeking a reliable team member who enjoys working in a team environment and can adapt to changing operational needs.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility to work through dinner service (5:30 PM–6:30 PM). Additional scheduling flexibility is required to provide coverage during employee vacations and planned time off.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing, serving, and distributing meals and snacks across four separate buildings.

• Assisting with daily meal preparation, including meals and snacks prepared in advance for weekend service.

• Supporting breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations as scheduled.

• Assisting with dinner service between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, food preparation areas, and dish room.

• Washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and following proper food safety and sanitation procedures.

• Assisting with food storage, stocking, and inventory as needed.

• Providing additional coverage and support during team members' vacations and scheduled absences.

• Working collaboratively with a small team to ensure consistent, high-quality meal service.

• Availability to work a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule, including dinner service as needed.

• Flexibility to adjust schedules to accommodate vacation coverage and operational needs.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Nice-to-haves:

• Previous food service, kitchen, or meal preparation experience.

• Experience working in a residential facility, healthcare, or similar food service environment.

• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures.
