The Role at a glance:
We are excited to bring a versatile commissary attendant to our correctional team in Madison, WI. As a commissary attendant, you will have the opportunity to: ensure excellent commissary services for an assigned correctional facility’s commissary program.
Applicants will be required to pass a background check in accordance with any background check procedures required by the correctional facility and applicable law.
What you'll be doing:
Commissary
- Pick, pack, and fulfill commissary orders for food and personal hygiene products.
- Deliver orders to inmates accurately and efficiently in accordance with facility procedures.
- Verify order contents to ensure accuracy before delivery.
- Follow all correctional facility policies, security procedures, and applicable standards.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
What we're looking for:
Commissary
Must-haves:
- Knowledge of correctional facility standards and requirements, and an ability to adhere to these standards and requirements.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills.
- Have excellent communication and organization skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- At least one years’ prior experience in a commissary program.
Compensation Range
$19.25 per hour
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
