The Role at a Glance:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET, and Angular (JS) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable applications while ensuring high performance and security standards. The role also involves modernizing legacy applications, overseeing coding standards for North America, and conducting regular code reviews with internal and external teams. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies and AngularJS.
- Implement cloud-based solutions and services within Microsoft Azure.
- Design and optimize APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve technical issues.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- Strong knowledge of AngularJS and frontend development.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth, JWT.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
