The Role at a Glance

As a Dayforce Workforce Management (WFM) Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing our workforce management systems that power a large, multi-site hourly workforce across North America. This role is responsible for supporting the Dayforce WFM platform, including time and attendance, scheduling, labor rules, and pay policies, while ensuring accurate system configuration and compliance with union agreements and labor regulations.

You’ll partner closely with HR, Payroll, Labor Relations, Operations, and IT to troubleshoot issues, maintain integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, and ensure workforce data flows accurately across systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex system issues, improving processes, and supporting a fast-paced organization with a large hourly employee population.

What You'll Be Doing

Dayforce Workforce Management Support

  • Provide ongoing functional and technical support for Dayforce WFM modules, including Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Timesheets, Pay Policies, and Labor Rules.
  • Configure and maintain system settings such as pay policies, shift templates, pay groups, job assignments, and labor rules.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve configuration and user experience.

Union Rule Configuration & Compliance

  • Interpret collective bargaining agreements and translate labor requirements into Dayforce system configurations.
  • Configure and maintain rules related to overtime, premiums, differentials, scheduling rules, and seniority requirements.
  • Partner with Labor Relations, Payroll, and HR to ensure union rules are accurately implemented and maintained within the system.

Integrations & Data Management

  • Support and monitor integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and Dayforce, including employee data, organizational structures, job assignments, and position data.
  • Troubleshoot integration errors, data mismatches, and system issues in collaboration with HRIS and IT teams.
  • Conduct data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.

Issue Resolution & User Support

  • Serve as a key escalation point for timekeeping, scheduling, and pay-related system issues.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to timesheets, punches, accruals, pay rules, and leave balances.
  • Provide clear and timely support to HR teams, Payroll, Operations leaders, and end users.

Testing, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Support testing for Dayforce releases, enhancements, and integration updates.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards related to workforce management data.
  • Develop documentation, process guides, and training materials to support system users.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Dayforce Workforce Management (WFM) including Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Pay Policies, or Labor Rules.
  • Experience working in a unionized or collective bargaining environment and translating labor rules into system configurations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Solid understanding of timekeeping processes, payroll impacts, and labor compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting HRIS or workforce management systems within a multi-location organization.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Dayforce WFM certification or Ceridian training.
  • Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC).
  • Experience supporting HR system integrations between SuccessFactors and downstream systems.
  • Background supporting large hourly workforces across multiple states.

 

Where You'll Be Working

This position is open at Elior North America’s corporate headquarters in Houston, TX, as well as at our regional hub locations in Minneapolis, MN; Pittsburgh, PA; or Jackson, MS.

Compensation

$80,000 – $110,000 annually, based on experience.
