The Wellington School, a premier Pre-K through 12th grade private school, is looking for a dependable, energetic Food Service Worker to join our outstanding dining services team. We take pride in serving fresh, high-quality meals in a welcoming environment that helps fuel student success every day.

Schedule You'll Love
Monday-Friday
8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
No nights
No weekends
School holidays and most school breaks off

Start Date: August 17, 2026

This position follows the traditional school calendar, giving you the opportunity to enjoy evenings, weekends, holidays, and scheduled school breaks off while working a consistent daytime schedule.

What You'll Do
Assist with preparing and serving lunch for students.
Help organize and set up food service before each meal period.
Restock stations, clean, and reset after service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Complete additional cleaning and kitchen tasks as needed.
Provide friendly, courteous service to students, faculty, and staff.

Friendly, dependable, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Passionate about providing great food and excellent service.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation practices.
Able to use basic knife skills safely and efficiently.
Loves working with kids!

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, climb, and remain active throughout the workday.
A criminal background check is required and will be completed by The Wellington School before employment.

$14.50-15 an hour
