The Role at a glance:


The Senior Total Rewards Analyst plays a vital role at Elior North America assisting in the management and compliance of the company's compensation, benefits, and retirement programs. They conduct research and analysis to ensure the organization's total rewards offerings are competitive and compliant with industry standards. The Total Rewards Analyst supports the development of effective compensation structures and incentive programs, while also ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. This role contributes to attracting and retaining talent by assisting in the creation of comprehensive and appealing total rewards packages.

 

This is a remote position with preference for the individual to be in the Eastern or Central time zone.

 

What you'll be doing:


Benefits:

  • Responsible for the administration of the Company’s retirement plans including the 401(k) and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation.
  • Act as secretary for the 401(k) committee, planning meetings, recording minutes serving as the custodian of the plan documents and committee records.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with existing and new federal, state and local legal requirements and legislation, obtaining qualified opinions, advising management on needed actions regarding the benefit programs.
  • Responsible for the compliance, audits and testing of health/welfare and retirement programs including 401k, Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation, Section 125, ERISA compliance, ACA, etc.
  • Processes vendor/carrier invoices and audits benefit data; work directly with vendors/payroll/finance to reconcile discrepancies, create and submit payment requests for approval.
  • Work with our IS & HRIS team to coordinate file integration with vendors and resolve data integrity issues.


Compensation:

  • Responsible for position description updates and job classification process to ensure consistency throughout the Company. Participate in the benchmarking of all job descriptions.
  • Evaluate and analyze salary data, making recommendations on the determination of pay grades for new or existing jobs including market pricing; participate in compensation and benefits surveys.
  • Consult on the preparation of salary offers for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other compensation actions; partner with the Talent Acquisition team in determining compensation appropriate for the position.
  • Review job evaluations and job descriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriate job classification including FLSA, salary grade, etc.
  • Assist in the annual merit and bonus process as well as complete compensation market surveys, and the associated analysis and modeling to determine potential changes based on the market data.

 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in identifying and incorporating process improvements in HRIS, compensation and benefit systems, ensuring data integrity.
  • Provide data gathering, reporting, auditing, and analysis, in support of all Total Rewards projects.
  • Provide benefit and compensation reporting to internal and external requests; creates presentations for the Total Rewards team.
  • Keep abreast of legislative, legal, and regulatory developments pertinent to focal area and the compensation and benefits area in general.
  • Resolve benefits and compensation issues and investigate discrepancies, provide solutions and policy interpretation as appropriate.

 

What we're looking for:


Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years in Benefits & Compensation Administration
  • Prior experience with administration & full compliance of 401(k)/Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plans
  • Bachelor’s degree; degree in HR or a related field
  • Strong technical skills; specifically, Excel & Power Point
  • Knowledge of IRS rules and regulations pertaining to the administration and compliance of health/welfare, defined contribution and nonqualified deferred compensation plans
  • Strong financial skill set; ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Highly organized, able to coordinate multiple tasks, attention to detail and meet established deadlines.
  • Outstanding customer service – ability to work well both independently and as a team member. Must be comfortable communicating with all levels of employees including advising leadership; must have the ability to obtain information from others and effectively communicate and deliver information to others.
  • Ability to function without significant oversight (as you will be a subject matter expert); to be a self-starter and make recommendations for projects and improvements
  • Travel up to 10%


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM, CEBS certification
  • Experience with BI Reporting
  • Experience with SAP/SuccessFactors
