The Role at a glance:
The Client Account Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with Tradition's clients, ensuring their needs are understood and consistently met. Serving as a key liaison between Tradition and its clients, this role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional service and fostering client satisfaction. This role will be on-site at our Pearl, MS office.
What you'll be doing:
- Resolve Client Issues: Address and resolve daily client concerns, including shipment shortages and freight-related matters, to ensure client satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Review and evaluate weekly inventory to maintain accurate stock levels and support seamless operations.
- Pricing Responsibilities: Develop and manage pricing for Business Development Directors (BDDs), new customers, and new products, including biannual pricing updates in June and December.
- Order Management: Review all orders for accuracy and ensure error-free processing.
- Production Planning: Assess demand to align with production schedules and address shortages effectively.
- Bid and Proposal Management: Prepare and manage bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to secure new business opportunities.
- Report Analysis: Analyze revenue and quarterly reports to identify trends, optimize strategies, and support decision-making.
- Client Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact between TRIO and Tradition, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
- New Client Integration: Partner with Tradition to understand and address the needs of new customers, ensuring smooth onboarding and satisfaction.
- Product Sales: Promote and sell new products to existing customers, expanding client relationships and driving growth.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Associate's degree or a minimum of two years of related experience in customer support or account management.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), internet navigation, and email communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively address client needs.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, including data entry, analysis, and reporting capabilities
Nice-to-have's:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and its reporting tools, such as Management Reporter and SmartView.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization tools.
