The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add a skilled warehouse worker to our TRIO Community Meals team in Baton Rouge, LA. As a warehouse worker, you will have the opportunity to support foodservice distribution efforts for meals across the country.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
- Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
- Participating in the planning and execution of special events.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- At least three years of progressive culinary experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
- Experience with budget statements.
Nice-to-haves:
- Associate’s degree in culinary arts
- Experience in an acute care setting.
