The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, skilled Senior Business Analyst to our Corrections team in the Pittsburgh, PA area and surrounding locations within the state of PA. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will serve as a project manager on enterprise initiatives working with cross functional teams to achieve the desired initiatives and lead project testing of systems through the full systems lifecycle from documenting and tracking finalized business requirements through project implementation. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail and comfortable working with multiple upstream/downstream systems and processes. The successful candidate will also have experience writing test scripts working with multiple team resources, managing tight deadlines and have strong analytical skills.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide leadership to team members, peers, and organization by collaborating and articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management and others
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, determining, and carrying out processes and practices, monitoring progress and results, identifying improvement opportunities and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities
  • Review current business processes, operational metrics, and internal / external feedback on issues by collaborating with individual contributors and management to support high impact improvement opportunities
  • Create process maps and documentation for existing and future processes by assessing current state, analyzing business requirements, and considering system inefficiencies
  • Drives data analytics and dashboard development and use to drive adoption and increase customer satisfaction
  • Serve as a liaison between functional and operational departments to assist or gather business requirements need for system modifications, enhancements, or implementations

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Three to Five years’ experience in a relevant role
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience working against goals, contractual deadlines, and able to manage time to deadlines
  • Attention to detail, has systems thinking and able to communicate technical details to business teams
  • Experience with Stakeholder management and adhering to standard processes
  • Excellent work record, superior communication, cooperation, and organizational skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Prior ERP experience or knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains and Statz) and associated reporting tools, i.e. Management Reporter and SmartView
  • Project Management experience
  • Prior experience working in a Shared Services organization
  • Experience with Smartsheet tool

Compensation Range

$105,000-120,000/year
