We are looking to add an experienced, motivated executive chef to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium with Lancer Hospitality in Tacoma, WA at The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. As an executive chef, you will have the opportunity to prepare innovative cuisine at an exciting landmark property!
What you'll be doing:
- Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
- Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
- Participating in the planning and execution of special events.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- At least five years of progressive culinary experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
- Experience with budget statements.
Nice-to-haves:
- Associate’s degree in culinary arts.
