Catering Supervisor

The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a skilled, experienced Catering Captain to join our team. As a Catering Captain, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage catering events and ensure their success.

What you'll be doing:

• Overseeing the setup, service, and breakdown of events.
• Coordinating staffing and managing event staff.
• Coordinating and communicating all event operations with the client, kitchen staff, etc.
• Overseeing and participating in the preparation of meals and beverages.
• Preparing the banquet room or area for the event, serving customers, and cleaning up after the event.
• Ensuring courteous, prompt service for all event functions according to established guidelines.
• Any other tasks as necessary.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• At least two years' experience in catering, food service, or hospitality.
• The ability to work as part of a team devoted to providing outstanding customer service.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of all espects of event implementation.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Food Handler’s certification.
• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.

Compensation Range

$20 an hour
