The Role at a glance:
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Dining Room Supervisor to join our Cura Hospitality team in Rochester, MN. As a Dining Room Supervisor with Cura Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to ensure high-quality dining experience for residents, staff, and resident family members and guests.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervising the daily operation of the dining room, including oversight of the meal service and the appearance of the dining room during “off peak” times.
- Scheduling, managing, and training dining room employees, especially new team members.
- Participation in Monthly Resident Food Committee Meetings
- Handling customer service interactions and resolving any resident concerns.
- Directing and providing catered events for residents and visitors
- Actively serving residents and staff during lunch and dinner services
- Ensuring resident payments are captured correctly on POS System
- Supporting The Market (Retail Store) during non-meal service times
- Assisting with development, set-up and execution of Theme, Holiday and Special Promotions
Schedule:
- Hours of Work: 11:00am - 7:00pm, 5 days/week
- May include weekends and holidays
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Experience in training, coaching and supervision of dining room servers
- A leader with strong organizational skills
- Collaboration with Cooks during meal services to ensure plated food meets quality standards
- Experience with resident account software and/or POS System (computer knowledge)
- Active member of the Culinary Management Team on campus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Must be ServSafe Certified and CFPM (may obtain within 60 days of hire)
- A leader with positive energy to drive the dining experience for the residents we serve
Nice-to-haves:
- Previous hospitality management experience.

Compensation:
- $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
