The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a motivated, energetic Part-Time Evening Dietary Aide to join our Healthcare Foodservice team in Philadelphia, PA. As a Dietary Aide with Cura Hospitality, you will primarily support our retail/store operation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. by preparing and portioning grab-and-go items such as parfaits, trail mix, and other packaged products. Beginning at 4:00 p.m., the employee will transition to assisting the Personal Care dining room during dinner service by helping with resident meal service, bussing tables, dishwashing, cleaning, and other duties needed to support the operation. We are looking for candidates who are dependable, customer-service oriented, able to multitask, work efficiently in a team environment, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with meal service, setting and bussing tables in the dining room and assisting the cook as needed with food preparation and cleaning.  
• Assisting the Personal Care Dietary Aide with setting up the Personal Care dining room for meal service, including table setup and restocking the deli cooler and supplies.
• Serving to approximately 50 residents.
• Preparing sandwiches and other always-available menu items.
• Scooping ice cream and portioning desserts.
• Bussing tables, washing dishes, cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Taking and documenting food temperatures while following all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves: 

• The ideal candidate must be dependable, punctual, organized, enjoys interacting with seniors, works well independently, maintains a positive attitude, and takes pride in cleanliness and food safety.
• Have the ability to handle multiple tasks using time and task management skills. 

Nice-to-haves: 

• Previous food service, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills. 
• Have excellent attention to details and service knowledge.

Compensation Range:

• Pay rate starts at $15.00 - $16.00 per hour based upon experience
