The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service Director of Food and Nutrition to our Heatlhcare team in Baton Rouge. As a Director of Food and Nutrition, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that customers and clients never miss a meal.
What you'll be doing:

Oversees retail dining, patient dining, high end catering operations, coffee shop, and physician dining services

Manage budgeting, purchasing, and financial performance for a complex, multi-unit hospitality operation

Leads a team of 100 employees and 5 managers
- Reports to Hospital Administration / Regional Director
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or related field
- Certified Dietary Manager certificate
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare dining, or multi-unit operations
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, labor management, and financial performance

Experience leading large teams across multiple departments and service lines
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, regulatory compliance, and healthcare standards
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in healthcare food service or hospital environment preferred

ServSafe Manager Certification required
