The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a skilled, experienced Catering Captain to join our Education team in New York, NY. As a Catering Captain, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage a catering event and ensure its success.  #indeedelior

What you'll be doing:

  • Overseeing the setup, service, and breakdown of events. 
  • Managing event staff. 
  • Ensuring courteous, prompt service for all event functions according to established guidelines. 
  • Assisting in the recruitment and training of new associates. 
  • Any other tasks as necessary. 

What we're looking for:

Must-haves: 

  • At least three years’ experience in catering, foodservice, or hospitality. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. 
  • Good knowledge of all aspects of event implementation. 

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
