The Role at a glance:
We are looking for an experienced, skilled Stewarding supervisor to join our Abigail Kirsch team at the Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown, NY. As a Stewarding supervisor, you will have the opportunity to lead, direct, and assist in the overall management and performance of the facility.
Compensation is $20 an hour.
What you'll be doing:
Overall responsibility of supervising the stewards and the overall functions of the Stewarding department, running of events at Tappan Hill as well as The Loading Dock in Stamford CT when required, filling requisitions and vessel requisitions, overall cleaning and maintenance of the back of the house under the supervision of the Assistant Executive Steward and Executive Chef. You must work closely with the management team in promoting the Company’s culture, mission and philosophy.
What we're looking for:
- 2 + years in F&B establishment in a lead or supervisory Stewarding position.
- Able to run events independently under the supervision of the Assistant Executive Steward.
- Working knowledge of Spanish is an asset for this position.
- Responsibility and attention to detail plus strong leadership skills are very crucial for this position.
- Ability to communicate work related information to co-workers, supervisors, and associates.
- Able to work flexible work schedule in order to accommodate business levels.
