The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager for our Abigail Kirsch segment at Veranda in Soho.  As the Restaurant Manager for Veranda you wiill have the opportuntiy to manage a vibrant and esteemed fine dining establlishment.  This is a great role for an individual who loves the restaurant industry and is looking to further their career by taking on the responsibility the daily coordination of all food and beverage service and operations within a restaurant, bar and lounge. What you'll be doing:

  • Interview, hire, evaluate, conduct performance coaching & counseling and performance evaluations of direct reports.
  • Manage and actively participate pre-shift meetings and service, driving sales, ensuring service standards, and being a presence to guests.
  • Enforce of all “Standards of Service” and be a floor presence during service.
  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the beverage storeroom and wine cellar.
  • Attend a weekly meeting to review staff concerns and highlights, operational needs, and building issues.
  • Consistently follow all opening and closing procedures.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in the quality of the guest experience, service, operational effectiveness, employee retention and satisfaction.

What we're looking for:


  • 3 + years management experience in restaurant/hotel operation. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively, independently, and efficiently with time constraints.
  • Detail oriented and perform work accurately and timely.
  • Proficient computer skills necessary including Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels (weekend and holiday availability required). 


  • Financial management cost controls, food and labor cost management experience.
  • Advanced wine and spirits knowledge.
  • Prior event experience.
