The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced HR business partner to our Summit team and work as a remote employee. As an HR business partner, you will have the opportunity to support and collaborate with business leaders and team members across all levels of your segment.
What you'll be doing:
- Partnering with leaders, team members, and key stakeholders to advise on talent, including onboarding, talent review and assessment, career development, succession planning, internal mobility, engagement action planning, and rewards/recognition.
- Championing HR programs, practices, and policies with the overall objective of nurturing and maintaining a strong, people focused culture.
- Owning employee relations issues within the segment and working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to recognize, investigate, and resolve employee relations issues and create meaningful solutions.
- Handling all training initiatives within the segment, managing them through facilitation, communication, tracking, and partnership with the Training Department.
What we're looking for:
Must haves:
- BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of four years of progressive HR experience handling employee relation issues and investigations.
- Proven experience in developing partnerships with leadership and influencing key business decisions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Nice to haves:
- PHR or similar certification.
