The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated operation support manager to our Trio Community Meals team in Alabama. As an operation support manager, you will have the opportunity to partner with TRIO leadership at both corporate and unit level, to establish and implement the systems, training and standards to ensure the highest level of client and guest satisfaction, employee engagement and financial performance across TRIO's operating units. The Resource Manager provides supporting leadership and accepts accountability for the quality of TRIO's operations, achievement of the company's financial objectives and retention targets, and ensures continuous improvement in all areas of operational performance and discipline. Please note: this position will support 6 units across the state of Alabama. 

What you'll be doing:

•    Providing operations and technical leadership in establishing and implementing the company’s standard operating procedures, standards and systems. Maintaining a positive presence throughout the organization and communities in which we operate, including serving as an ambassador and role model of the TRIO Community Meals vision and standards.
•    Providing direct support in the process of on-boarding and training all salaried managers in the company, including but not limited to onboarding checklists, company SOP’s, and company policies.
•    Providing on-site support at locations as directed by direct report manager.
•    Ensuring a superior experience for all guests. Consistently identifying, implementing and reinforcing operational standards, procedures and systems to ensure overall guest and client satisfaction.
•    Guiding and supporting new business unit openings, product launches, culinary program implementation, marketing initiatives, etc., including leading unit level training and implementation.
•    Providing functional knowledge and expertise, developing processes and procedures to ensure business performance against company operating standards and metrics, including guest/client satisfaction; employee engagement; revenue & profitability; and safety & sanitation standards. Effectively guiding the assigned units in achieving business objectives.
•    Monitoring and ensuring that all food and beverage preparation areas and employees maintain the highest standards of public health, sanitation and safety. Ensuring proper food handling and safety procedures are always in effect.
•    Effectively resolving company challenges and issues.
•    Ensuring the highest level of integrity and accountability in all business dealings; serving as a role model for excellence in all he/she does. Following through on all commitments.
•    Building and sustaining positive relationship with all stakeholder communities, including employees, clients, guests, partners, shareholders and the community in which we operate. 
•    Ensuring that care for others and service are our top priority; constantly exploring and implementing ways to enhance employee and guest satisfaction. Maintaining a positive attitude and generates excitement for the company.

•    Performing other duties as required.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves: 

•    Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating food service operations.
•    Demonstrated ability to relate well to individuals and groups with widely varying backgrounds, perspectives, education, and skills is required. 
•    Excellent work record, superior communication, cooperation, and organizational skills required. 
•    Demonstrated experience in supervising large staff required. 
•    Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
•    Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams
•    Previous experience with inventory, purchasing, cost control and P&L preferred
•    Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications required
•    Ability to travel
